

The Kindness Of DreamsI woke up, squinting at the amount of light in the room. The sun was shining brightly, unhindered by clouds since the sky was as clear as it could have been. It was an illusion of warmth, until I sat up, rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, and looked out of the window to find that there had been two feet of snow in the night. I smiled. I'd always loved the snow, even as a young child. To me, the snowy streets, untouched by man or machine, looked so pure and innocent. A true picture of beauty.
